Character Designs

So it's been quite some time since I've updated. There have been a lot of developments. I've put together a collaborative zine with a few of my friends, I'll be exhibiting at CCA craft fair, SF Zinfest and right now I'm working on a character design/story boarding pitch. The story Is of a Slothful king who is literally draining the essence from the land and a diligent knight must reclaim the throne by entering the ominous castle and facing it's many monsters and booby traps. I'll show you more as stuff goes down.

different ends of the spectrum

phew. Don't know how I made it to spring but I did and I have some fresh new projects to show for it.

^ this won't be on news stands any time but I wish it was...sigh. One day.

alternative glitchy colors

These down here are pages from a comic I'm developing with the inspirational Fran Harris. Based on her dream journals and the memories of her traumatic brain injury. It's been truly amazing collaborating with her and being able to really experiment with things.

Attack of the Ink Work.

So here are some projects that I've been working on for the past two weeks or so that I haven't got a chance to post yet. I've been going through some changes in my pen and ink technique and it's like i'm breaking through a threshold of control on the medium that i've previously not have. I've really been craving details on work lately where as before I would look for efficiency in line quality but now that attitude has gone toward my color choices and my lines are getting a bit more expressive. we'll see were this takes me but I've started really enjoying process again.

Poster for the infamous Stanley Kubrick movie. Peter sellers will always be one of my all time favorite actors.

Sockdrawer comics: new zine sensation!

So for this semester I've been organizing an awesome zine venture with some amazing friends and artists. Zack Rowden, Will Durkee, Alex Sodari, Speth Szabo, Hannah Knight, Dan bun and Riley Burkshire. I'm supper excited for this collaboration! So excited that I hand screen printed the covers for the first run! If every thing goes according to plan the zine should be exhibiting/selling at bookish beast, CCA spring fair and SF Zinefest and perhaps APE. Keep looking forward to more updates!

Street Justice ch 4?

I'm gonna be honest guys. I wrote this whole sequence as kinda of a whole unto it's own and wasn't sure quite how to integrated in the overall storyline I have for Street Justice and now thinking about it to greater length if I place this in ch3 it'll ... I don't know fit quite so well. I know that might not make sense but I'm pushing this back to ch 4 for it to fit better. Eh working ahead I guess but I'll tell you something I'll tell you the plot of ch3. Street Justice goes to the Thunder Club a once every ten year concert held in a hotel that was sunken beneath the city by an earthquake. His mission to sever the horn of the greater demon lord that's hosting it.
