So for this latest problem I was asked to pick a topic of controversy and make a poster "for" and "against" the topic. I decided to pick Palestine joining the U.N. as a state. The topic was quite... challenging but i'm satisfied with the finishes
This is the "against" poster witch takes Israel's position that direct talk are the best way to negotiate statehood for palestine and essentially the U.N. is ineffective. On the presentation day I actually turned it in say ing "suck" and not stuck... a bit embarrassing.
This is the "against" poster combining the Palestinian people with their flag. This one reads a lot better and I really like this one. I think when doing projects like these it's harder coming up with good ideas for positions you disagree with.
a prelim sketch. In an early version I had that androgynous shape dude with the flower... but he really had no business being in that composition... just too distracting.
Pretty much the same accept for the crows. interrupting the composition... AGAIN!
