New project Lich King

Doing some poster work for the band Lich King. Check it!

these first two were mainly to play around with type and go through some character designs.

  

This one was more for fun to see what an opposite gendered lich would look like

This is the one I'm set on for character design. these are in inks and in my final sketch I'm gonna desaturate my a bit. like that cloak... i did it on the plane with my brush pens... apparently altitude effects them because my red came just gushing out. I looked like I was bleeding all over the place... which was awkward to explain to the flight attendant 

Here are my comps. I'm really felling the fist one up there so I'm going for it. He's gonna be busting out of a bunch of swampy water with his magical ax and inextinguishable torch
